Support for success

Do you have particular difficulties to overcome in certain subjects of your program of study? 

Our Math, French and Chemistry help centers are there to give you extra support and to help you along your academic path. 

Two formulas are offered to support you: 

• 
  Peer tutoring will allow you to be paired with a final year student who will help you, supervised by a teacher in charge of the center 
• 
  Support from subject specialists, who are available in the CAF, CAM and CAC to provide targeted and individualized assistance to students who need it to overcome specific difficulties 

At the Support for Success Center, students experiencing difficulties in various subjects (mathematics, French, English, chemistry, physics, etc.) receive support from subject specialists during individual meetings or in small groups, online or in person. To access this program, you can register online, according to the block reserved for the schedule on Omnivox. 

At Collège Universel, you will benefit from a student assistance program. This service is offered by the college in conjunction with your group insurance plan and is supported by our plan administrator, Plan Major. This program is essentially a 24/7 support center giving you immediate access to confidential consultations provided by specialized professionals.

This service will allow you to receive :

  Psychological support (support center, videoconference meeting with a psychologist or social worker) 
• 
  Legal support (for any legal questions you may have); 
• 
  Advice on how to organize your budget (tips and tricks to manage your finances); 
• 
  Advice on your health and lifestyle.
