Are you a person of action? Do you want to become an agent of social change through concrete actions?

This program will allow you to intervene as a counsellor, intermediary, mediator, protector, agent of social change or community representative. You will be able to work with families, individuals, groups or communities who are facing difficult social and personal realities, to help them live better on a daily basis.

Collège Universel offers you the opportunity to complete the DCS in Social Service in an intensive program. The Social Work Techniques program will allow you to work with people experiencing social problems such as abuse, domestic violence, etc. By correctly assessing problematic situations and developing solutions adapted to different situations, you will learn to intervene effectively with people in need.

To secure your seat in the Social Service program, you must meet the general admission requirements of the Ministère de l’Éducation et de l’Enseignement supérieur du Québec at the college level, and you must also satisfactorily complete a questionnaire designed to highlight your aptitudes and attitude towards the profession.
