The Operations and Supply Chain Management program prepares students to become logistics technicians. They oversee the movement of goods, people, and information, handling tasks such as scheduling, routing, travel planning, goods traceability, improving work practices, and managing relationships with suppliers and customers.
Additionally, they plan, coordinate, and supervise purchasing, receiving, distribution, national and international transport, customs clearance of goods, inventory management, handling, and personnel management. Their role involves document completion, data recording, and compliance with laws, regulations, and international economic agreements.
Moreover, they must excel in problem-solving, decision-making, adaptability to change, and staying updated on new technologies. They can suggest measures to enhance productivity and profitability in operations and communicate effectively in English, both nationally and internationally.
Possibility of financial support from the Government of Quebec for eligible candidates. Certain conditions apply.
