About

The Early Childhood Education Technician program is designed to train capable professionals in the fields of childhood education and childcare management. It is designed to meet children's basic needs for hygiene, comfort, sleep and safety.

Students will learn to assess children's needs and provide appropriate care. They will also acquire the skills needed to design and revise educational actions according to children's needs. They will be able to provide childcare services to a group of children, while ensuring that the children receive quality education and feel safe. Students will also learn to build positive relationships with children and work collaboratively with parents and colleagues.

Graduates of this program will be well prepared to work as childhood education technicians in a variety of settings, such as daycares, early childhood centers and schools.

Possibility of financial support from the Government of Quebec for eligible candidates. Certain conditions apply.
