You have just arrived in Québec or you have completed a francization pathway with the MIFI, and you would like to:
  • - Develop your French skills, both spoken and written
  • - Enter a college program leading to a DEC or an AEC to shape your professional future
  • - Strengthen your employability through acquired language skills
  • - Begin learning a second language, English

 

The Allophone DEC Bridge Program at Collège Universel offers you a pathway that will allow you to:
  • - Strengthen your language abilities to communicate confidently in your studies and daily life
  • - Quickly understand the Québec education system and labor market expectations
  • - Define an academic and career plan aligned with your profile and opportunities in Québec
  • - Prepare for an effective job search adapted to the Québec context
To be eligible, you must:

• Have completed a high school diploma (or a recognized equivalent)
• Provide proof that you have reached Level 5 in written comprehension and written production, as defined by the Québec Scale of French Proficiency of the MIFI.

    • Spoken French 1  601-F10-UC — 3 hrs (2-1-3) 2 credits
    • Written French 1 601-F1E-UC — 3 hrs (2-1-3)  2 credits
    • Integration into Québec Society  360-SQC-UC 3 hrs (2-1-3)  2 credits
    • Use of Learning Strategies 360-SAP-UC 3 hrs (2-1-3) 2 credits
  • Oral French 2 601-F20-UC 3 h (2-1-3) 2 credits
  • Written French 2 601-F2E-UC 3 h (2-1-3) 2 credits
  • Introduction to English as a Second Language 604-ANG-UC 4 h (2-2-2) 2 credits
